Gowardhan Biochem is a Solvent Extraction Plant from the state of Chhattisgarh. The plant have been built with the intent of setting an extraction unit in the state, which shall be well equipped with resources and technology to be able to extract Organic Natural Oil from Non Edible Oil seeds. As a result we started with the extraction of Neem Oil from Neem Oil Seeds (Nimodi). Our final products are Neem Oil and Neem De Oiled Cake. As a part of process, Neem Seeds (Nimodi) are procured as raw material and with the use of solvent technology, Neem Oil is extracted, leaving behind Neem De Oiled Cake (Neem DOC) as a by-product. We have configured our plant in such a way to be able to process not just Neem Oil Seeds but also Karanja, Mahua, Jatropha etc. All these seeds are potential raw material for bio diesel. The intent has been to be able to extract Bio Oil from Non Edible wild oil seeds and in the later phase of expansion, to convert those bio oils to bio diesel. The prime purpose of setting this plant was to dive in to fertilizer industry / agriculture allied industry as India being an agrarian country, it possess immense opportunities in agriculture and allied industry. The biggest motivating factor for building the plant came later during the course of gestation period, when the current government at center showed their utter intent with many actions towards organic farming, be it increased investment in government sponsored schemes or active participation in growth by APEDA or NPOP or Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana or making Neem Coated Urea mandatory for 100 indigenous production (just to name a few out of many). Neem Oil is a very potent and useful product in bio fertilizer industry. The chemical properties of Neem Oil makes it an inseparable part of fertilizer preparatory process. As explained in the later section, Neem Oil along with Neem De Oiled Cake possess various application in fertilizer and agri-sector. We have been successful in installing a complete Solvent Extraction Unit and is now a running plant. Able Management, a good blend of experience with youth and Knowledge with awareness have been the stalwart for setting such a plant.
